Your donations to the library are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity!
The Library Endowment Fund
In 1999, the Board of Trustees of the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library established the library endowment fund for the purpose of providing a way for the library to invest private donations for the future health and development of the library and its services to the community. Donations to this fund are tax deductible. The donations are then invested in perpetuity.
The interest earned from these investments is made available to the library on a regular basis. In 2005, the library made its first distribution of funds to the Plainfield Arts Festival, a joint project of the library and the Guilford Civic Township.
The Plainfield Library Endowment Fund is part of the Hendricks County Community Foundation. Information on donating through the HCCF is available from:

Gifts, Recognitions & Memorials
The library accepts donations of money to purchase gifts, recognitions, and memorials. Some examples of how your donation may be earmarked are:
- In celebration of a birthday
- In honor of an anniversary
- In memory of a loved one
Gift, recognition, and memorial items placed in the library’s collection are marked with a special bookplate.
Library Wish List
Another way to donate to the library is to pick an item off the library’s Wish List. The Wish List is a listing of things the library could use; from a new gaming system for teens, to children’s toys, to book carts.
